PROFILE

12 year veteran of the video game industry with experience in all aspects of the business. Currently Lead Artist at Terminal Reality working on a variety of games on console and mobile devices. I have worked in the trench making assets and currently working on prototypes setting up content pipelines. In my 12 years I have also worked along side PR groups creating assets and planning (including video editing, photography and web development).

Along with being an art manager I have also worked with local colleges to help mentor students and been a speaker at various events for students.

LEAD ARTIST, TERMINAL REALITY; LEWISVILLE, TEXAS — 09/2009 – 12/2013

Work with production to plan out projects. Troubleshoot game systems between the art department and the rest of the team. Working with the design department for art needs. Discuss pipeline for artists for each project. Giving feedback and direction to art team. Working with outsourcing partners for each project. Content creation for prototyping and setting up pipelines. Working on documentation of art bibles and other pipelines.

 

LEAD STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHER, PRESTIGE DALLAS; PLANO, TEXAS — 06/2009 – 09/2009

Photographer shooting people in a studio setting. Worked directly with people and gave them direction during photo sessions. Adjusted lighting as needed and set up poses and according to personality and outfits. Edited photos with internal software for print.

Assigned art team with tasks based on project needs. Tracked progress and gave critique and feedback based on design team needs. Worked with design team and code department to troubleshoot systems and gameplay. Worked troubleshooting engine features for the art team including helping create new tools. Created assets and worked with outsourcing implementing assets as they were delivered. Worked on UI systems and created PR items along with game manuals.
